Chase the Ace Raffle Rules and Regulations


Prize information:

i) The Accumulator will be a minimum guaranteed prize of $5,000.

ii) Weekly Consolation Prizes for the first five weekly draws will be a minimum guaranteed prize of $1,000. (March 16, 23 & 30, and April 6 & 13)

iii) The Winnipeg Jets Chase the Ace raffle prizes:

i. A Weekly Consolation Prize consisting of 20% of gross weekly sales.

ii. An Accumulator consisting of 30% of gross sales.

iv) Tickets are valid for each weekly draw only and are removed before the next weekly draw commences. To win the weekly prize, the winner must have purchased the winning weekly ticket number. To win the accumulator prize, the winner must have purchased the winning weekly ticket number and selected the numbered jersey with the Ace of Spades.

v) If you buy your weekly CTA tickets by Sunday at 6 p.m., you are entered to win that week’s early bird prize. The prize must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, cheque or credit. Winners have ten days to claim their prize. Unclaimed prizes return to the foundation. Winners will be contacted using the contact information given at time of purchase.

  1. June 18 - 2 tickets to Nickelback concert on June 20, 2023 (value $370)
  2. June 25- 2 tickets to The Chicks concert on Sept 12, 2023 (value $440)
  3. July 2 - 2 tickets to 50 cent concert on Sept 13, 2023 (value $700)

Ticket information:

i) Tickets are available for the following prices: 1 for $5 or 10 for $10 or 50 for $20 or 200 for $50.

ii) All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased and entered in the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchasers made an error in selecting the number of tickets they desire to purchase.

Event information:

i) Draws to take place every Thursday at approximately 6:15 p.m. CT, until the Ace of Spades has been revealed thus concluding the game.

ii) Early bird draws to place every Sunday at approximately 6:15 p.m. CT on the following dates: (March 12, 19 & 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, and May 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2023, June 4,18,25, and July 2, 2023)

iii) Tickets will be available for purchase on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. CT and available until 6:00pm CT the following Thursday.

iv) Each numbered envelope contains a hidden playing card from a standard 52 card deck (no jokers).


Draw Information:

i) The designated card that will win the accumulator is the Ace of Spades.

ii) Previously selected cards will be displayed on the Chase the Ace site (www.winnipegjetscta.com) until the end of the series.

iii) Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older and located within Manitoba's provincial borders at the time of purchase. Tickets are not transferable.

iv) The individuals that are not eligible to participate in the Chase the Ace raffle are the raffle chair and the raffle mailing contact.


Conduct Rules:

i) Raffle tickets are sold through our Bump Worldwide Inc. system at winnipegjetscta.com
Accepted payment methods are Amex, Visa and MasterCard.

ii) A single ticket number will be randomly selected by a Random Number Generator from all tickets sold during the week. In the case of a discrepancy between the posted number and the actual number selected through Random Number Generation, the actual number selected through Random Number Generation will be considered the valid winning number.

iii) In the event of a technical difficulty, the draw may be delayed. If this is the case, purchasers should retain their ticket and the winner will be posted on winnipegjetscta.com

iv) The winning number, weekly prize amount and the revealed playing card will be posted no later than one hour following the completion of the draw on winnipegjetscta.com

  • Should the numbered jersey contain the designated winning card (Ace of Spades), the Weekly Raffle winner shall also be awarded the Accumulator prize and the raffle is concluded. A new series will begin the following week with a new deck of cards.
  • Should the numbered jersey not contain the designated winning card (The Ace of Spades):
    • The card and jersey number are removed from being a valid selection.
    • The current Weekly Raffle is complete. The raffle shall commence the following week with the Accumulator prize carrying over.

v) The winning ticket holder will be contacted by TNYF within 3 business days of the draw date. The holder of the winning ticket must claim their prize by  forwarding their purchase e-mail and a copy of their government issued photo identification and address. The holder of the winning ticket will have until 4:00PM (CT) ten (10) business days from the time of the announcement to claim the prize. The designated Chase the Ace ticket is validation for claiming the prize. By claiming the Chase the Ace prize, the winner gives the TNYF the right to publish the winner’s name and prize amount.

vi) Names are publicized to protect the integrity of the Chase the Ace raffle as it verifies that prizes are won. The prize claimant will be required to sign a Declaration and Release ("Release") which must be executed and returned to TNYF no later than five (5) business days after the receipt of the Release.

vii) The prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. The prize shall be paid by cheque from the TNYF within thirty (30) days of the winner delivering the winning Raffle Ticket, executed Release, and all other required documents to the TNYF. The cheque will be mailed to the winner with the customer details provided at time of purchase.

viii) All Prizes not claimed on or before the Prize Claim Expiry Date (4:00 PM CT, ten business days from the Raffle date), will be retained by the True North Youth Foundation.

ix) If the integrity of the raffle is compromised in any way, the TNYF will notify the LGCA and consult the LGCA on how to best move forward. The TNYF must receive LGCA approval prior to cancelling the raffle and/or modifying the raffle rules.


The True North Youth Foundation Raffle License (LGCA-3027-RF-37524) is issued by the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.
